Thats a lot of amp. yeah im a bit nervous to put such a heavy load on that single battery but its supposed to be designed to handle 20k watts continuous. key words being supposed to haha. but im hoping little burps will be fine. either way if it goes up in smoke its been a hell of a journey.
WalledSonic Posted February 13, 2018 Report Posted February 13, 2018 Im running 3 banks of JY 80Ah with a large alternator on only 10KW and i can tell you now, dont trust that 20KWrms number and also be damn sure to watch that voltage. Thats a shit ton of expensive equipment man! Im guessing once i hit 14v or getting close to 14v ill shut it down and let it start charging again. what size alt do you have? 240/80?
