The cone will move significantly less right at the tuning frequency. Movement wil increase if you raise or lower the frequency of the tone. You don't have to do this at very high volume. J_west07 Posted March 24, 2016 Author Report Share Posted March 24, 2016 Yeah I know they are a good sub, I'm not knocking them at all. I'm just guessing the gain is a little high or the box is outta spec for how I've got the amp tuned. I'll get the measurements of the box first chance I get. The box isn't in an ideal spot either I drive a Mitsubishi eclipse. Had to take the back seat out for it to fit and the port barely has any room it's right up against the brace that runs where the seats connected.
