Ahmed Johnson
Yeah when I type on 16 ton hydraulic crimper on eBay all that comes up is a 39.99 unbranded deal. I don't know anything about crimpers. I have that exact one. It's been working fine for me.

ShadeTreeMechanic
If you get wings when you crimp, then your lugs are too big. Imho I have the same crimper. 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)

I do know two things, I'm happy with the end result and I don't waste material. Can't really argue when it turns everything into one solid pice when it's all said and done. IMHO. I didn't have a lot of an edge but I had the SHCA lugs and terminals matching the wire with a little bit of edges.
Ahmed Johnson
I guess it depends on what you mean by wings, mine came out looking like his in the pic

Fuck if I know. Old School/New School RF Build March 2015 SOTM Winner How to crimp large wire
yurvalentine
I never get the little wings on em, but then again maybe it isn't as tight of a crimp. From what I've seen either way works so long as you don't go too small on the dies.
