Username Unkown Posted April 8, 2016 Author Report Posted April 8, 2016 something like that on a lot lower scale. Iv been pondering on the idea of alts in tye back of the vehicle, and in my mind a hydraulic motor system would suffice the torque needed for multiple alts. Would be a great system to rig, and mount somewhere else in your vehicle instead of shoving it in the hood. And you can also have a mouting system, when your done with your vehicle, you can unmount the motor/brackets/alts ect... and put them in your next vehicle, instead of buying all new alts and such. I dunno just an idea that a few people have gone through with, and was intrested on some input.
Username Unkown Posted April 8, 2016 Author Report Posted April 8, 2016 Any other ideas for another motor just for electrical?
ShadeTreeMechanic Posted April 8, 2016 Report Posted April 8, 2016 Sure it can be done if you have enough time and / or money. If you are the hands on type that likes to figure things out then I say go for it, but this is not for the average person. One of the best websites for learning about hydraulics is HydraulicSupermarket.com (or something close to that). Do a google search for "surplus center" for good deals on hydraulic equipment. Be sure to post pictures of your progress. 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)
