03 corolla trunk build / Testing some sundowns, scores posted.

Recommended Posts

ok, its going to be like 30 here for a few days with snow. So instead of trying to load cut into a fresh 4X8 sheet of MDF in my crowded cold garage im going to use some spare pieces then flush trim them. I know some of you will probably lose your minds but its ok, The panels all touch perfect on the seams and this will have some touchup to make those seams disappear. Its not the best solution but i'm gluing in the house just so i have a temperature for the glue to work in. I wanna get this thing built and wouldnt normally do this. Of course i dint hide the mistakes i make you guys get to see the good bad and the ugly lol

im impatient, and i have 3 designs i can try. MDF is cheap too so i have all summer to test things. Also, things will change a bit going from 1 to 2 so i want to do more testing with two so i dont have to start over again

i was hairtricking like a mofo on 2 orion hcca 10s and a 5k wired at 1 oh, it was a hatchback tho but you could try something similar on your corolla, i would build subs and por forward WITHOUT SEALING OFF, 3.8 c/f box and a single 6" aero, aero needs to end almost where the seat closes and you open the back windows or the hatch, 100% you will hairtrick on that ;)

not a all hommie, they are easy as hell once you find out how to get the loud, see what terry brocks managed to archive on spl? is basically the same principle, you are using the cabin as a 6th order bandpass once you know where to place the port and subs, in order to get LOUD on the design im telling you, you would need to use the port externally ;)
