XRunner Posted April 21, 2016 Report Posted April 21, 2016 When I ran an SQ3500 with a Crescendo 1100.4, I had a singer 200a alt with 3 d3400's. Held mid 13's full tilt. If you're thinking of running a mids/highs amp, plus that 3.5kw amp you'll need more batts. More electrical than you need is never a bad thing. 2005 Toyota Tacoma XRunner Build log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/204530-05-tacoma-xrunner-build-sundown-singer-xs-power/
solar0987 Posted April 21, 2016 Author Report Posted April 21, 2016 I only plan on 1 3500.1 of something high quality and 1 4 channel amp of highish quality <---- will be a little bit on 4 channel I only budgeting in 200 for a new battery I didn't know they were 350 plus haha. I can throw in the 50ish extra for the d3400. unless you can recommend a better one for the price. Can always add more later down road.
XRunner Posted April 21, 2016 Report Posted April 21, 2016 You can probably get away with something like this: http://www.remybattery.com/intimidator-9a34-battery.html I do not have any first hand experience with them, but a buddy of mine has a couple in his ride and he likes it. 2005 Toyota Tacoma XRunner Build log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/204530-05-tacoma-xrunner-build-sundown-singer-xs-power/
Kyblack76 Posted April 21, 2016 Report Posted April 21, 2016 What's the question? SMD SUPER SELLER The Burban Build Blazer Build sold Acura trunk build sold
Mauro376455 Posted April 21, 2016 Report Posted April 21, 2016 Im not a pro, but you should get at least 1 g31 batt. 2 of them would be much better. Thats a pretty broad spectrum... Any specific ones? I have a yellow top agm under hood already. Is this any good?http://www.amazon.com/Soundquest-SQB2000-Battery-High-Performance-Removable/dp/B009OGGYEM?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_2&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER Or This http://www.droppinhzcaraudio.com/d3400/ Or this http://www.amazon.com/XS-Power-D1400-Battery-Terminal/dp/B005FYJ5I4/ref=sr_1_4?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1461230258&sr=1-4&keywords=xs+batteries&refinements=p_n_feature_keywords_two_browse-bin%3A7019844011 This is the battery under the hood http://www.amazon.com/Optima-Batteries-8014-045-YellowTop-Purpose/dp/B000MSBUA4/ref=pd_sim_sbs_263_6?ie=UTF8&dpID=51k88vhwM0L&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=1E47WSCFVQDWEB73HHTG Yellow top is alright for the moment, but when me n my buddies had those they kept dying.I run xs power now, you can get the xs power d3100 for underhood or rear. Also the xp 3000 are good aswell but only for rear not underhood. I ranned both before but there pricy$ When u say your runing 3500 watts, what amp are u running or planning on running?planning on running a audio legion 3500, or a twisted sounds 3500, cresendo 3500 or a dc 3500. Whichever I can find cheaperUmm i would really get atleast 1 xs power d3100 I finished helping a buddy of mines wire a crescendo 3500 to 2 soundqubed hdc3 18"s n he is droppin volts alot. And he has only 1 d3100 which i sold him. He has the amp at .5 ohm. So if u plan on running any of those amps u stated earlier i would get 2 d3100 to be safe. Dont forget about having good quality ofc 0 gauge, probly do 2 runs.
Mauro376455 Posted April 21, 2016 Report Posted April 21, 2016 Btw car audio is not cheap at all. Get good electrical to save your expensive equipment.
reedal Posted April 21, 2016 Report Posted April 21, 2016 buy good electrical first, then buy the equipment that needs it. alts and batts are your heart, the wiring your veins, and the amp your brain. your brain doesn't work as well if its only being halway supported by your heart SMD Tool Map https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/193176-smd-tool-map-new-november-2014/ Build log https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/197217-reeds-03-tahoe-hat-sqaq-singer-xs-shca-cockbox-80prs/?page=32
solar0987 Posted April 22, 2016 Author Report Posted April 22, 2016 I have 30 feet of sky high 0 ofc copper wire for big 3 redoing<-- just did it in 4 guage 2 -3 weeks ago, and 1 run to back of car for now. Plan on adding 1 battery to the back. Later plan on upgrading under hood battery. I have 250-260 to spend on battery atm. I know car audio isn't cheap haha, there is a clause to that " Good car audio" isn't cheap Recommend me the best battery for 260$ pretty please. I will probably use that under hood when i upgrade later to bigger back battery.

So if u can fit it under the hood then that's right at your budget.
