Stumped On a design

My friend needs me to build him a box for Kicker Compr 12 (2016 Model). The dimensions I got to build with are 16" in height, 36" in width and 10" in depth. They recommend 1.75 to 2.25 cuft for ported. Id like to tune it 35hz but I cant seem to get the port where I need it in this space. I tried winsd and the version I have must be messed up because it is giving me very weird info like the port air velocity is at 18235.23 ms. That's with kickers recommended port size. any help on a design would be appreciated

What I got was 16"x36"x10" coming to 2.46 cuft then I got a port of 14.5 in height by 2" wide and 22.5" in length which brings it to 2.06 cuft with a tuning of 36hz and 14sq inches per foot on port but is 28sq inches of port enough for this box?

If you used 0.75" MDF with the max outer dimensions of 10" D x 36" W x 16" H ;

With a 1.75" wide port, 14.5" tall, 23.75" long, it would give you about 1.9 cubic ft with tuning of 35/36Hz.

Ports first leg would be 6.75", then the next leg going along the back wall would be 13.75"

edit: this would be for running around rated power of the speaker.

It would be 500watts. I played a little more last night with it. I got 16h 30w 12d with the port at 2w and 25.5l.brings the tuning right at 35 with the same amount of port area. My main concern is port noise

You won't have port noise with the port dimensions you are talking about.

Do you think it needs any kind of bracing

That box off of 500 watts should be completely fine without any bracing. Add some if you want, but it really isn't going to need any in my opinion.
