99vic Posted April 22, 2008 Report Share Posted April 22, 2008 ok im going to let extreme spl use my hc600 this weekend so today i took it out and just ran everything to my amps and i didnt notice any difference . i even hooked it back up and just ran my system from that battery so i know it works? is it that the hc600 is to small for my system. did i post this in the wrong section? roscoe1129 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Share Posted April 22, 2008 get a DMM (digital multi meter) and set it to 20v dc put it on your amps power and ground terminals and check to see what your voltage is with and without the hc600 while your system is playing at normal listening volume. also check it with your headlight on and off and get a reading of what you voltage does. 99vic Posted April 22, 2008 Author Report Share Posted April 22, 2008 the hc600 is a smal power cell, what kind of wattage? and wire etc. you may be looking at geting something a little bigger.. i have audiobahn hcx2300 its suppose to be 2400 rms at 2ohm but i dont think thats correct. i had 1/0 wires and now i have 4g wire again (i keep pulling everything out trying to make it better) big 3 the kinetik 600 and a 4ch alpine amp.
