new box help pls 2 x12s

i built a box for my sundown x 12s and i want to scrap it and make a new one. this time i want to go with 2 6" aero ports. its going in my 2013 maxima subs firing forward. usable dimensions are 16"H x 38"W x 24"D. i did a port calculator and it said i need each port 26" long to tune to 32 hz at 5ft^3 airspace is this true?

Like as follows you would get the spec you want:

If you fire the ports forward you would need to turn them with fittings, port clearance in both ends would need to be 6" at least.

How much power are you putting to them? A single 6" port per sub may be a bit on the low side for port area.

the amps are 2 memphis audio mc1.1100.. the birth sheets both say a little under 1200wrms each.

25.375" but 25" will do, port airspeed looks within limits to rated power, just you may want to use some flares:

ok how about bracing?

is it ok to make the box 38"wide instead of 36 " to account for bracing displacement..ill probably use 3/4 or 1" dowels

If you are doing 1" dowels front to back and top to bottom the total displacement for those would be 0.017 cubic feet, it's a very small difference, if they were 1 1/4" which I would probably recommend, displacement would be 0.026 cubic feet, still a very small difference, you don't really need to change the box size due to this.
