Bought them on SMD from a very reputable guy and was told they were in 100% working order, so I made the dumb decision to never test them out...Oh well. Hooked them up for the first time - no music or anything - and it went right into protect, but the other amp works perfectly. I believe the amp was damaged in shipping, but it really doesn't matter now. I'm going to call amp medics tomorrow... Does anyone see any problems? That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Great guy and answered all my questions - awesome service! So far, I'd definitely suggest Amp Medics. I'm thinking that something was knocked loose when it was sent to me and maybe knocked back into place when it was shipped to him? I have no idea.
