Haterhurter
This is going to be my first time messing with fiberglass what's the best material to use for my 98 Chevy 1500 dash fleece or Matt just. Don't want to do anything crazy just to add a little strength and paint it

yurvalentine
I don't know what the dash in that is like but I would assume it's vinyl or plastic? Either way you're going to have a hell of a time getting resin to adhere to it. In my car I ripped all the vinyl off and layed up fiberglass onto the foam underneath. But I don't think that woulf work for a lot of cars.

Haterhurter
I'm also using sun flash resin if that's gonna make it easier to work with?
boometro
spray the dash with sem texture paint then the fiberglass resin will stick. it will not stick to the raw plastic but it will stick to the texture paint. i have done this to many different plastic door panels with a lot of success. the other option is using epoxy resin which is different from polyester resin.
