If you like them that much try contacting a dealer see if they can order just the mids, not a cheap set to loose a mid though.i wouldn't put anything in its place hooking it up to a passive crossover.normally the speaker is dedicated with it. You can try using something diffrent, you'll need to look the specs up of the mid and go to parts express or Madison's and find something close ,good luck ..

second dollar bill, try to find a mid that has the exact ohm and db rating. if you dont it will be xover very differently than the original and more than likely result in shit sound.

Get the same mid from an official dealer : it should be easy.

Or get another pair of mids, (+ a dsp if you can) and have fun with a 4 channels amp.

parts-express and madisound have great speakers : sb acousitics, Seas, Dayton, Morel, and many more. Don't focus on watts if all you find are 8 Ohms speakers.

My 8 Ohms speakers play on 2 x 65 w @ 4 Ohms amp : I don't know what my amp produces at 8, but it's plenty loud for me !!!

Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats.

2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a sealed box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.
