The woofer cone is 16 inches in diameter including the screw holes, is it okay to have the face of the box (width and height) be 16 inches by 16 inches, or do I need more space than that. never knows best Posted July 1, 2016 Report Share Posted July 1, 2016 cut out diameter plus material thickness on both sides will give you minimum baffle size- ie) your cut out diameter is 14-1/8" and your using 3/4" MDF your min size would be 15-5/8" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
