Triticum Agricolam
That all looks amazing! Excellent attention to detail. It would drive me absolutely nuts that one of those 150 amp fuses was made differently than the other two. I'd have to get a new one. I have more, prolly will swap it out, LOL You didn't say what you think of the lanzars They are loud, but being where they are they aren't as clear as i thought, outside the vehicle they sound awesome. Given what they are I am not surprised by all this. Those videos above suck, don't translate anything real world like, that's why I didn't post any more of them, all kind of pointless. In the other thread the one guy said after play time they sounded better up close, time will tell. With the bass going (LOUD) they sound good! LOL. My thoughts are that if they were Off-axis they would sound good, or loud and clear which is all i am really after for rear fill for demo's. OR, maybe some EQ'ing will be needed EDIT: oh and they provide like no midbass, might drop HPF down to 80 (where they're rated) and see what that yields. That's why i went with 10's over 8's..... =/ 2007 Chevy Tahoe (SOLD) 12 ~ FI Audio X series 10" w/BP option 2 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @0.67 3 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @1.0 2 ~ PPI 3 way sets (not installed yet) 1 ~ RF T400-4, 1 ~ RF T600-2, 1 ~ RF T600-4 4 ~ CT Sounds 5.25" Strato comps (rear fill only) 1 ~ XS Power D4800 1 ~ XS Power D3400 8 ~ XS Power XP3000 160 stock alt, Mechman 370 Elite, 185 DC Power 320+ Sq. _paralyzed_
I'd keep turning the hpf down until the lanzars start to sound bad then back off. You might as well get them as low as they'll go.
