bassl0va
There's many online retailers that stock this. "Tymphany 830946"What are you thinking of using it for? It might make an ok mid-bass but isn't really suited for IB use. Can't be used as a woofer in a 2 way though, it needs a low pass at like ~300hz, could go higher with a steep filter. Zak.vr6
What do you mean by IB? I was wanting to use them for front doors As a mid bass The 42hz fs got my attention
bassl0va
Infinite baffle, which is how most people run door speakers. As in, they are just open into the cavity of the door, rather than having an enclosure. The qts is too low for IB really. Could work ok if you're willing to make pods for them. Zak.vr6
Thank you I do have a slight problem with moisture with really heavy rain Hence why needing replacements, to rectify the moisture I do need to build some kind enclosure in to the door These will get replaced(moved to rear doors) once I've saved up for some decent 3way components
bassl0va
Yeah Parts Express or Madisound should list suggested volume for their enclosure, otherwise I can suggest something if they don't. What are these replacements to? As I said they aren't suitable for use with a tweeter, breaks up around 1khz then drops like a stone. You should have it crossed over an octave or 2 before that depending on crossover slope My RE MT 18" wall build Former build, farewell beloved wall.In progress, Toyota Starlet build This forum has a massive boner for ridiculous electrical upgrades. 06RTCharger
How about checkin out Marine grade audio? Like the sound systems for boats. I think a few well known brands make speakers safe for boats. Just an idea.

Zak.vr6
Also noticed there both different speakers as on is a a13 and other is a16 Put these crappy ones in for the time being Cut the tweets wire
notorious97200
I think Genesis is a high end British brand. they sell very expensive amps. Those speakers look promising, better than the ones you're replacing them with. black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 amp with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a 2.6 ft3 ported box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.
