My prs80 worked just fine with that exact harness and my factory steering wheel controls. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. What should i be concerned with, is there something specific that wont work? Just askin so i can check for the issue when i get it.

Lol im assuming it will, i just wanted soccer to explain a lil more in detail what hes talking about. Not just present a problem with nothing explaining the issue. 06RTCharger
Good luck getting it to work. Pioneer has bus inputs. Just got the p99 and PAC in today, havent hooked it up yet but been reading the instructions, seems the PAC doesnt even use the ip-bus input. It uses the wired remote input tho, a 3.5mm Jack input. KyleButler
it will work fine, the steering wheel control input is next to the IP-BUS connector on the back of the radio.
Broke_Audio_Addict
Yes, it uses the 3.5mm jack for the steering wheel controls. 06RTCharger
Yes, it uses the 3.5mm jack for the steering wheel controls. I think i found a problem. To retain the factory amp (for now, till i get my amps) i have to connect the Front Outputs of the head unit to the Rear Outputs of the vehicle connector......the outputs on the p99rs are rcas, no speaker outputs becuase theres no internal amp. How would u connect rcas to a regular wire? Lol im fukd huh? Till i get an external amp. My car has the 7speaker Boston Acoustics amp.
