Right now I am battling light issues on this install. Shit ill take the warmth with no light. Now that I have a way to mount things to metal and wood in a professional way I can get creative. What will be close is actually the RCA's... I have set lengths and what im trying to do with my wiring ... lets just say it will be close. That battery looks interesting. What can you tell us about it? I couldn't tell you detailed specifics but I can tell you that they're 40ah lipo batteries rated for 7kW. They're also SUPER light. I couldn't believe I was holding a battery when I picked it up. That's all I got on info though. He summed it up. A 100a charge (50 continuous) and this battery would be fine on a 5k amplifier. it weights about 20 lbs if that.. at heatwave i struggled to hold it up by 1 finger for a picture. and im pretty comfortable with 3 fingers holding it. It will rest 13.6 or so... so it will force the northstar up some and will be dragged down some. It won't matter as long as i don't leave the car sitting for a week + and i plan on addressing that for easy access incase i do. This is a great choice for me because i wanted to keep my stock alternator and cut down on weight but still have a decent amount of power. Win win win. I have about 30 pictures of me dropping the headliner on a 2016 Mazda 6 that has not even gotten its first oil change yet. Now the roof is almost hard as a rock. Who would like to see updates? How many layers do you think I managed on my roof? Any guesses on exactly what I did? Lets see who has me on Facebook for them Ninja quick updates. Yes the next couple batches of updates will be deadening and wire running. Sorry. Necessary evils. I promise fabrication is coming soon. I cardboard mapped out where I want to install my Fix86 and B2 DSP. They will be going under the passenger front seat. I have a couple tricks i will use to keep them safe and not flopping around. But anyways.. I like these RCA's. I plan to wrap this all in Tesa tape so it should look good. They will need DC power run here, Remotes run in and out, and also high level into the JL. That will also be Tesa Taped. But here is my thought process so far. Then I did another thing. NOT EVEN THE FIRST OIL CHANGE AND THE HEADLINER IS OUT! LOLOLOLOLOL. What am i doing in this life? A freaking brand new car. Anyways...... Its actually a pretty nicely built OEM headliner.
