speakers are as old as I am! lol. that underhood shot is clean man!

And they still sounded OK but it was an older lady's vehicle so chances are there wasn't to much abuse. Thanks, i try to keep clean and looking good.

So plugged in my bench test HU to make sure i didn't have any issue's. Seem fine, only speakers hooked up are the RF P142's and i had to remove the rear panels to unplug them for setting the gains w/ my dd-1. They sounded really good of the shitty HU even better when i put the panel up but not all the way on. Played a few songs of different types of music and it all sounded good for 4" speakers in the rear off HU. Sound even better with the new HU.

Getting excited to hear what the whole system will sound like if the rears sound that good. I am sure at midnight i will have everything running but not be able to even turn it on until tomorrow. But that's OK, if i spend the morning putting the interior back together and tuning by afternoon i will be happy with that.

Back to work!

Thanks man, wire management is one of my strongest attributes. Couple more hours of running wires and i will be ready to set gains. then start putting this pig back together. Had i removed center console and rear seats i could have remove all that carpeting. Hind sight i guess, if i where to deaden the entire vehicle i would have. The JLX came from the factory with a lot of deadening but it could have used more, always a time management issue.

At least you didn't have to build a sub box for this build. That would of added a ton of time.

So you were saying that the subs are Temp right? So what will replace them?

Smaller subs in the rear side panels so she has cargo room. 7-8" was what i was thinking.
