A couple years ago my crescendo bc2000 got jacked, and I bought the 1500.1 to replace it on sale for $300. It is slightly underrated and has the smallest footprint I have seen for that much power. The difference from the 1500.1 to my bc2000 isn't audible. I would definitely look into it so far...
