Wannabe
Really I always hear good things? And which ones do I need for a sub amp? Guest
junk. mine were too tight on every amp i plugged them into then one day i unplugged em and they ripped apart leaving half the rca still on the amp and the color coding rubberbands easily come off
audiofanaticz
I ordered a 2channel set and 4channel set of Karma RCAs. The ends of the 2channel set fell right off out the package. The 4channels I think I gave away to Chode or someone when they bought something else I was selling. This was years ago though, now I just use SMD rca cables. Soundrive cables look nice too, but I wouldn't trust some of their known copycat cables made by others.

Soccerballzs
Power and speaker wire kicks ass. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/garage/vehicle/2438-jeep-commander/I Pioneer P99RSAmpere 38002-Ampere 125/44-6.5 inch Hertz HSK XL Mids4-8 inch JL Audio ZR Midwoofer 2-5.25 Satori Mids2-Morel Tweeters, 2 Hertz Milles 3 inch on A pillars2-Hertz Silk tweeters DC Audio Level 5/12 Skyhigh Wire Mechman 320 XS Power D3100MO Funniest Thread of the Year 2013: http://www.stevemead...dy-being-a-pos/
Karkov
I always tried to use RF RCA's....till I got some where the package was fine but the wires had melt marks on them (like someone laid them across something hot) so clearly they were exposed to hear before going into the package and this happened more than once and I had issues with them so no more RF RCA's for me. their other wire is good but pricey. I then decided since SHCA starting selling the exact same wires just rebadged that I would try them, and pretty much as people above said about Knu's, the ends didn't fit on any of my amps or were loose as balls and I couldn't use, I literally got RCA's that I absolutely couldn't use either too tight and will not fit on any amps or too loose and won't stay on any amps (3 different brands, in some cases multiple of each brand). Straight waste of money. Period. I got enough laying around to make due but in the future I am just spending the money for SMD's and go with the sure thing since I am sick of companies cheaping out lately. On the same topic, forgive my noobness but since Steve sends out a birth sheet with each set of RCA's, does that mean they test each one to make sure it's up to snuff before shipping them?! If so, then I am even more sold on his. 2007 Chevy Tahoe (SOLD) 12 ~ FI Audio X series 10" w/BP option 2 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @0.67 3 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @1.0 2 ~ PPI 3 way sets (not installed yet) 1 ~ RF T400-4, 1 ~ RF T600-2, 1 ~ RF T600-4 4 ~ CT Sounds 5.25" Strato comps (rear fill only) 1 ~ XS Power D4800 1 ~ XS Power D3400 8 ~ XS Power XP3000 160 stock alt, Mechman 370 Elite, 185 DC Power 320+ Sq. audiofanaticz
yes, each cable is tested to ensure low resistance. Ive tested a bunch of cables already. Steves longer cables have less resistance than shorter cables. Resistance matters since it reduces the rca voltage drop from the head unit. The more resistance the less voltage input your amp sees.No different than voltage drop from the front of your vehicle under the hood to the rear of your vehicle at your amps when your wiring is not up to par. Case and point 1foot new rca cables against 3 foot and 6 foot rca cables that are used.https://www.facebook.com/audiofanaticz/videos/1265875193446793/?l=4871178961006316123
