904slumpin
Got this car about 6 months ago, was gonna do a 2 15 "trunk wall" but after thinking. I said fuck it I'm building my first wall. My first build EVER as a matter of fact. I've messed around with audio for the past 10 years, let's see if it pays off! I will make an equipment list and a building material list on this first post and update it as things change. Will be PIC HEAVY. 904slumpin
Dual 2/0 Welding ran for power, Doing the same for ground next. Prepped a couple grounds and got them ready so I can get the box floor layed. Carriage bolt and Liquid Nailed my 2x4 wall to the back seat, Plastidipped my back windows Pics Later. 904slumpin
Grounds in pic are just prepped not finished, I will get rid of alot of the slack and even up the Conduit.(Only reason I am laying the conduit under the box is so my power and ground has less of a chance of ever being flawed.. Was thinking about running a 3rd 2/0 to support possible 10k in the future. The random noises my friend's makes would be enough to make me want to take it out and smash it with a sledgehammer. 904slumpin
Cool man more updates soon. Grabbed some cheap Harbor Freight 0 Gauge hydraulic crimpers yesterday, just gotta customize them to fit my 2/0 and I can finish my back seatbelt grounds and lay the floor. Laying out tape so that I can fil a foam everything and one day be able to remove easily if I want my back seat back. It's pouring here outside today so it doesnt look like any of that will get done today. I'll also have dual grounds going to my struts, and dual runs from the front battery/alternator. ShadeTreeMechanic
Cool build, I like your equipment list. One thing that comes to mind about those seatbelt grounds: with the box on top of them, it would be impossible to check or repair if you had to. I see a lot of builds that have connections buried behind amps and stuff and I always wonder how much fun they have when it comes time to troubleshoot and repair these things. Just my two cents and I like the direction you are going with this. I would love to build a wall someday. 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)

I will have an additional 4 going to my rear struts as well. At first I hammered my lugs on my grounds but after a night of thinking about it, I chose to cut them off and go grab a hydraulic crimper. I have everything sanded down and once they are all crimped and bolted up I will apply a gel, or probly just a spray paint to prevent possible corrosion. And worse case scenario I'll remove the grounds from the amp and go to the frame. But I'm trying to have twice as many grounds than power on everything just incase I want to run another 2/0 + for an upgrade. 904slumpin
Plastidip on rear windows, just need to do the back glass now. I will do white over the black plastidip on the inside to match my car. Why? idk lol just cause. Also layed a sub floor with pieces of 2x4 and used a few tubes of liquid nail on them since my gas tank is under them. Once I get my back seat grounds down and Plastidip the rear window I can lay the first layer for the floor and the back. Having trouble posting pics for some reason so if this pic doesnt show I'll have to figure it out.
