jdjd
When constructing the slot port inside a new enclosure that I am building, do I use the figure in the "length" area that I added to adjust the tuning or do I use the figure that the calculator came up with called "the physical port length" to actually determine the length that I need to build the port? For example the design in question has 34" that I added myself and the "physical port length says 26.65":. So which one do I use? Thanks... audiofanaticz
The length you entered in the box is the actual length of the port when you measure down the middle. The physical port length is how long the wood has to be for the port. If you click on the help button of torres it tells you this, or if you search the forums people ask this over and over. https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/search/
jdjd
I'm still confused. I did read the help section in Torres and don't understand what to do. So in my case do I use a total of 26.65" of board length inside the box and that will give me the 34" of port like I entered? Just looking for a direct answer please.
