damn that deadner looks like it caught fire!

as for your stock wiring.  if the car is all gutted out there is no time better to just do it right and throw in some nice runs of 16 or 12 gauge speaker wire.

i would try to retain your factory cover.  your seats i'm sure will be going back in at some point.  so may as well keep it looking stockish when complete.

I don't remember how to put my seats back in because I pretty much took out all of the brackets that hold it into place. I think I've lost some bolts here and there too! What I was doing before was put up a blanket to cover up my subs whenever I go somewhere. If I were to put the factor rear deck panel back in, I'd have to ghetto trim the holes in it for the speakers.

Yah whats with that melted rubber stuff? Is that what happens to the peel N seal homedepot style stuff?

Freaken FatMat happened.

The Elemental Designs eDead didn't do that but the problem with the eDead was the black black adhesive stuff seems to have disintegrated overtime lol.

Edead was a butyl based deadener whereas the fatmat was asphalt based as you can see it oozing everywhere.

Best course of action is to chill the shit in the freezer on the pieces that you can to help removing the stuff so it makes as little mess as possible and best to remove asphalt based shit is in the winter to keep it from melting and oozing all over the place including you, once that shit is off get some paint thinner and clean the residue off.

Finished with my Second Skin Damp Pro on the Rear Deck. Only thing left to do is to Damp Pro down my rear deck baffle.

Looks good, now to build yourself a new top shelf and fake wall to cover the hole going in to the trunk.

I don't know how :(

Is there an easy way where I just throw carpet over the rear deck
