pimpedout97x Posted April 27, 2008 Report Share Posted April 27, 2008 mine did this, becuase of careless mounting of the crossover. open your crossover after you check the connections. if the connections are all good, then i can bet you anything, theres a piece inside that came un-soldered. i just resoldered mine, and all was good. the bass made it come loose, again, due to careless mounting, it wasent secured good. this is what made my mid cut out. the tweets were fine. Try changing the channels on your amp. ie wire right speaks to left channel and left to right. If the speaker still sounds like crap its gonna be a xover speaker issue. If the other speaker sounds like crap then check rcas and ... could be a bad channel on the amp or your head units output could be damaged.
