oldsoundguy
I have been emailing with Arc Audio about their xdi 1200.6 It has a good price point and quite a few features. I think it looks like the Arc would be able to run a three way active front set up then a separate sub amp and be able to run it all off the 80prs. The only thing is by the time you buy this amp and a sub amp your right back at 1100 bucks. 80prs Arc Audio Xdi 1200.6 (using active crossovers) Freaking awesome amplifier Incriminator IA 10.1 Focal PS 130v 5.25 (doors) 4" Faital pro Neo (kick panels) 3" Faital pro Neo and focal tweets( dash) DC Audio level 3 12" custom box designed by joex built by me AGM front, XS 750SE batteries rear DC 180 alt 99 Toyota Tacoma extra cab http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/179476-my-small-build-turned-into-the-ongoing-build/

MrSkippyJ
what is the reasoning for running 2 2-channel amps rather than just one mono amp? 06RTCharger
I have two 15s i want each to have its own amp. Each amp im trying to match to the speakers ability of 800wrms 1600peak handling. Trying to hit that with A/B amps at 8ohm. Thats why i think im gonna go with some old LP amps. 06RTCharger
With the LP i wouldnt need to bridge to get the power i want.
MrSkippyJ
lol you took 5 posts to answer my question ? just keep in mind that there is really no difference in 4 ohm stereo and 8 ohm bridged if you are using the same amp. With the LP you would be running one amp then? That is what I would suggest, 2 sub amps (not linked or strapped) usually leads to more problems than it solves.
