Electrical problem?

Recommended Posts

Ok, I will change the grounds first thing monday, I'm planning to redo all my wiring once my hydraulic crimper gets here, dual runs to everything and all grounds will be to the frame. I'll go check out my amp and see what it's set to maybe somebody can help with.

Gain is roughly 3/4, lpf is 1/2, subsonic is off, bass boost frequency  is 1/4, and bass boost is 3/4ish. Head unit is eq 80hz -6 and sub control is 80hz 0, loud is off bass boost is off.

turn the bass boost completely off. all it does is cause a peak around 45-50hz, and i'll bet money it's clipping even more than the 3/4 gain

Get rid of bass boost, turn it to zero. HU should be flat, zero db everything. When you get your grounds and other wiring finalized, consider investing in a DD1 and CC1. Research the two and get an understanding how they work and what the benefits are. Not sure what your tuned to but 28hz is a good subsonic number.
