DrakeLargent
I have 2 mtx 4500 series that come stock in a Camaro they have a pigtail that comes out of the back of the box that leads to the amp inside of the box I can't figure out how to wire this to my car without having to purchase the wiring kit online I wanted to try and cut the wires and wire it myself but I don't know which wires go to wear and I also don't know how to convert straight wires over to AV to plug in the back of my head unit I have a video detailing the whole box I wanted to try and hook it up to a stock 2001 Chevy cavalier I have a box on the back speakers to push a Av off of it to the amp but I'm trying to figure out how to get it from the speaker in the back of my trunk to the sub box I also have no wiring diagram so I don't even know where to get one I tried to look it up but can't find anything I'm at a loss and I really wanted to try and get these guys hooked up I know the subs work but I don't know if the amp works I'll just have to worry about that once I wired it thank you guys for all your help
ShadeTreeMechanic
Welcome to SMD. The only way would be to get a wiring diagram for the car it came out of. Nobody tries to use that kind of take out audio so it would be difficult to find someone who knows exactly what to do. You are better off selling it on eBay to someone who wants to fix their stock stereo and use that money to buy something aftermarket. 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)

DrakeLargent
There is 1 big red (hot / 12v I'm sure) 1 big black ( ground/ negative I'm sure) All others are small 1 light blue ( my guess left or right audio cable ) 1 dark blue (my guess other audio cable ) 1 brown ( maybe remote in and off???) 1 yellow ( maybe remote on and off???) its something my wife's uncle gave her I'm just trying to make her happy by getting them working In that box and off that amp she ain't got a lot of room in her little car this saves space
ShadeTreeMechanic
I have seen factory stuff where red is ground and black is +12v. If you open it up you will probably find a diode somewhere on the power traces that will tell you what the polarity is. 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)

Red = 12v (hot if signal sensing/swiched if non sensing) Black = GND These are left and right input wires, standard GM colors for rear speakers. Light blue = right rear negative Dark blue = right rear positive Yellow = left rear negative Brown = left rear positive
