yes the way you have it is probably better than 45s if you use big enough pvc, ideally you want to eliminate all flat surfaces/angles

thanks for your post. yeah i have never seen it done, but it seems to make sense to me.

I recalculated the design, and the box will only be 9.8 cubes. I might change some dimensions to make it bigger. opinions are welcome

i had a buddie that did the pvc in the corners and also used massive pvc for the port itself, (fart box)

did he just use pvc, or did he put some resin on it? im just thinking of using it instead of 45's

Use a bigger pipe... a 4" or even a 6" cut into 4 would be better. I was thinking the same thing on mine but i went with 45's as i didnt have the cash for PVC at the time. Still turned out really well, pic is when i was still installing it into my car

well my opinion is that all of the L7s ive worked with love being in 4cubes or more, my personal favorite is ~4.6cuft@35hz

the minimum for those are 3cubes, and they needed a little bit more power to sound "similar" to the 4.6 on ~200w less

goodluck, thats alot of cone area! just shy of 4 circular 15's... nice
