Im Not sure what the risk is for wiring down lower, or if there even is any risk. I know the 4-8 range is for quality of sound purposes. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
WalledSonic Posted September 5, 2017 Report Share Posted September 5, 2017 The mids are 4ohm, as OP stated. He will be connecting them for a final impedance AT THE AMP of 1 or 2 ohm. OP simply needs to determine how he will wire them (parallel-series) to get whatever impedance he needs for whichever amp he wants. OP, either final load is 'stable' as long as you're careful to check the final impedance before plugging into a Brazilian amp.
