ptcary
Just wondering how general this "rule" is? Is it safe to use this rule no matter what sub is being used? I have been fine tuning my wall design with amatt's excell program. SPL2K
I dont think its a "rule". Ive never followed it on over 3000 boxes. I make up my own rules as i go. USAMPFREAK
I stick with 15 sq in. per cubic ft. on all of my boxes. Unless forced to have some stupidly small port then I do 10 sq in per cf. 1975 Oldsmobile Omega SalonStill Under ConstructionTeam Sound QubedTeam H-O Alternators / Team Kinetik AudioR.I.P Team US Amps WHOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HOLD THE FUCK UP!!! 99_Xploder
i dont do any crazy SPL setups so i generally try to do as much port area as possible while still maintaining a resonable box size in any daily driver setup i try to do at least 20 sq for 10's 30 for 12's 40 for 15's...while my setups arent meant to put up numbers they seem to work out pretty well.
