Second, i have spent every extra dollar i could building my dream. but in the mean time i am stuck with a stock system, granted i am a little lucky for i own a BMW e46 with the Harman Kardon stereo , planning on full system after upcoming car show. new head unit, new door speakers and new mids and 2 18's in the trunk. but in the mean time ,stuck stock. 2 of the radio stations i listen too are ok but the the rest of the stations the bass turns to absolute shit . wtf ? I dont want to always run an aux cord/ I know this is a stupid Question but the car is great Acoustically, and After surviving the flood of Harvey, (only got 3" in the car she is still killing it.) If the interior of ur car had 3 inches of water in it, i hope u gutted the whole interior floor and dried everything completly. As for the radio stations, its FM radio is an analog signal but if you wanted to compare it to digital music content (such as a mp3) its limited to 96kbps or LESS, all depends on the station. Due to this there is a lot of dynamics missing in the music compared to a good quality song at 320kbps. Another thing that will alter the sound is how strong the stations broadcasting antenna(s) are, along with how close or far from the broadcast you maybe.
