I dont want to always run an aux cord/ I know this is a stupid Question but the car is great Acoustically, and After surviving the flood of Harvey, (only got 3" in the car she is still killing it.) Two 18s in the trunk, Ive got to see this since the air space isnt really there for 1..

As for the radio stations, its FM radio is an analog signal but if you wanted to compare it to digital music content (such as a mp3) its limited to 96kbps or LESS, all depends on the station. Due to this there is a lot of dynamics missing in the music compared to a good quality song at 320kbps. Another thing that will alter the sound is how strong the stations broadcasting antenna(s) are, along with how close or far from the broadcast you maybe.

I have an E46 and was only able to squeeze in two 12's.

15's may be possible but 18's would be a stretch.

Interested to see which direction you go!
