Skullz
I prefer to use fuse holders that require a lug on the end of the wire to prevent any possibility of the wire coming loose and melting itself, been there, done that, and will not ever repeat that issue. Something as simple as this. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Install-Bay-Nickel-ANL-Fuse-Holder/28829784?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=8959&adid=22222222227019341568&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=40838825072&wl4=pla-60260972011&wl5=9016890&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=115786984&wl11=online&wl12=28829784&wl13=&veh=sem 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2

Curious on your opinion about this subject. I stated that like it was fact, I should have clarified that was my opinion...oops My thinking is this: if you have 150 amp draw and wire/fuse capable of supporting 300 amps, what happens when something goes wrong but only sends 250 amps through the wire? Maybe this isn't even possible but I'm not a fan of having that grey area.
