ALPINE408
Caps are good up to a 1000 watt system after that I would use die hard 500 Cca out of my stock daily car befor useing a cap Quote Have you ever had your woofers blown?
Nate197
caps won't hurt, but if it were between that and alt/wire/battery upgrades, there's no debate Hc 600 is supposed to be equivalent to 100 one farad capacitors and it costs around 100 dollars. It is much more power for your money.
Thewes
it makes your system 400 deebeez louderlol and an hc600 is alot better than a cap imo. it alone can start a regular car. I agree on a hc600 being alot better than a cap, but it definitely would have a hard time starting most cars, especially SUVS. My 1800 even had a bit of a drag on my Escalade. Decaf
dude ur avatar is kinda scary caps also eliminate alternator/ground noise add a cap after all other eletrical improvments if u think u need it yeah a hc600 wont like that but a cap will like it even less lol
lilasian87
Wondering...My car battery died this summer and I had to get a new battery but it was maybe 2 years old or so. The person I took my car to told me that I need capacitors for my system that was in my car. I have two twelves power acoustic speakers. He told me that having the system in my car that if I didn't have the capacitors that my battery would die quicker...Is that true?
