The problem is your port velocity won't be low.  It will be over 50 m/sec, you will be throwing 2/3rds of your amp power away to port compression.  

As far as all the examples you posted, there are two problems.  The first is we don't know the specifics of those installs (box size, tuning frequency, input power, etc), so I can't say whether they have enough port area or not.  The second problem is just because they are getting good performance with what they have doesn't mean they wouldn't get a lot better performance if they ran more port area.  Maybe they would, maybe they wouldn't, again without knowing the specifics no one can say.  

Its your build, do what you want, I really don't care.  I'm only telling you this stuff because I'm trying to help you.  Its up to you whether you take my advice or not.  I've personally done a fair amount of port optimization testing where I used a calibrated mic to actually measure output and what happens to it when you don't have enough port area.  But if you would rather rely on the ear-o-meter or how hard a shirt flaps in a youtube video, good luck with that.

Those test are different tho bec those are all playing higher frequency  An tuned higher were you actually need more port area . Port velocity rises the higher the frequency you play . How told you my port velocity was high at 20hz with a 6 inch aero port ?

You should have done those tests an included a real low tuning  around 20hz an rested port velocity around there an under 20hz I bet you would see totally different results An that port velocity will not be a prob even with ur smallest port area on that test

You cant even design your own box, but you scoff at someone who (arguably) designs more boxes for people on this forum than anyone else, and posts data to prove it.  
@camshairtricks, you dont know shit.  Design your own box with software and post the results.  Post some real life testing with an RTA and lets see what you know.

prove to me my port velocity will by 50m/sec at 20hz an under .................with a flared 6 inch port go ahead an show me this and ill stfu . 25m/sec and down is fine in my book. that  guy in that last vidoe i posted his box is 5.5 cube net 2 dki 12s subs facing forward 6 inch port facing to the side on a 500 watt mtx amp he did over a 140dbs at 18hz ...he has no port noise down were he plays
