Just ordered a 270 amp G series from Mechman...( Question about it's capabilities)

I guess this is Max sz for my Maxima. Car uses a g24 or g34 battery up front so I put in a g24 Bosch platinum battery in the trunk ( stock alt rt now).  Alternator is 120 stock. I'm doubling amps and then some. What's the biggest battery in the trunk I can run and does it have to match the battery size under the hood? I would like to run 4k plus to 2 x12's. Amp rt now is an Orion XTR 2500.1 dz and 1000.4. Would like to upgrade. Thank you

No it doesn't have to match the front battery. I would recommend going with another AGM though.

How many batteries can I run in this alternator? Give or take? Think I can do 3 batteries and 5-6k total system wattage?

Haha... I was thinking the same thing. He is running 2 big ass amps on the same 270 amp alternator tho. I'm assuming that's the point. Any help is appreciated so thanks. Lol
