Ferguson621
Ok so as the title states, I would like some advice on trading my subs before I make the trade......I would be trading my two ct sounds meso 18's for one DD 9515I with an 8" dust cap....my new vehicle which is a 92 jimmy two door has extremely limited space in the back. And a wall is out of the question because I still need my back seat.....So I was thinking I could do the 9515 in either a t-line or a 4th order and push roughly 4k to it. And I figured since the 9500 series is a monster I could get another eventually and run two. I think im going to do the trade. But I would like some input first. Crazy 8s Drums
I would be skeptical about used subwoofers. Personally, I would not be inclined to trade gear that I knew worked properly for gear that perhaps did not. My $0.02. Ferguson621
Very true.....but at the same time there's also ways to verify that it is in good working condition. But at the same time i completely understand where your coming from
AlpineNut
So you are just even trading 2 18in subs for 1 15in sub? Well from what I can personally see the DD 9515I is capable of handling 8kW Peak as where ya ct sounds meso are 3KW peak, so ya getting 5kW more so if the sub actually works you are probably gonna get a better sub. http://ddaudio.com/products/subwoofers/power-tuned/dd9500-2/ https://www.ctsounds.com/collections/meso-series-subs/products/meso-18-d2 73456w9vbwevsdb sodtbsorutnvsd sdtuspdun sd d f gsdfiusd gdf n

CstrokerV
The specs of the jimmy 2 door says you have 30 cubic feet of cargo area to the back seats why can’t you do the 18s? my build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/142505-small-build-log-4-dc-lvl3-10s-tl-update-link-to-rebuild/ http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/154258-rebuild-6-lvl3-12s-update-small-video-nothing-spectacular/ new build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/188181-03-trailblazer-slow-build-8-dc-lvl3-12-m1-motor-m2-parts/
Ferguson621
Seriously?!....oh you mean the back of the front seats?....yeah that sounds about right, but from the back hatch to the back of the back seat is only 25 deep and that gives me 5 inches between the box and back hatch, 38 wide and i did 28 tall but that ended up being to tall cause i couldnt close my hatch. So really its only about 24" tall. If i build over the wheel wells i can get 44" wide but i was trying to keep it simple.

SkarredSierra
I fit 4 12s behind the rear seats in my same bodystyle blazer. Even had room for amps and a batt.
