aquill1
Pick whichever one you want! You can get 2 cvrs for the price of a type r (almost-around 140 shipped each.) How about powering the type r? What would he use?

trainman0978
I can't prove anything, but having had a pair cvr 10" s , a pair of CVR 12" s, a set of type -r 10" s, and now a set of type-r 12" s, I can say that I would buy the alpines over the kicker as far as comparing one line to another. I still wanna hear cvx though. The type -R just seems to play smoother and sounds more harmonic I guess. I don't really know how to say it so you will understand it. I am still a HUGE fan of Kicker amps. while I am using a alpine sub amp, and I like it, I only bought it cause I got it brand new at dealer cost. Had it not been for that , I woulda put a kicker amp on my type -R subs. I think the CVX would prolly kick the type-Rs ass all day long though. The cvr line is in a completely different price range than the type-r subs though. The correct comparison should be the type-r versus the CVX. 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser Voo Doo Blue my upgrades and "build" thread. ISO
proves you don't know how to install I would go with the Kicker Isobaric - Refers to the practice of coupling two drivers together to make them act as one.
