2018 Ford F150 under seat Box Design Blueprints Needed

Recommended Posts

Anyone capable and willing to help out free/for pay but need some real thought and math put into it not just a square box with holes for subs cut out.

I have a 2000.1D amp already would not like to upgrade unless i really have an opportunity with the space I have to  go much much louder.

Recommend  4 x 10 or 12's for me that will combine to 2000rms  and fit under my seat. Shallow mounts of course Sundowns maybe ?

Or perhaps 4-6 x 6 or 8" subs for the same combines 2000 rms.

Possible Subs : Sundown SD3 10 or 12,  Skar Audio VD 10 or 12 im looking to do 4 of them skar is price friendly. Would it be better to go 2 subs instead and give them more space?

Dimensions

Width 49.5"

Front height 8"

 Rear height 5.75"

Depth 12"

This might help you get a better idea on the volume your working with. Once you know that you can pick out your subs to match the amp

I know its not a ford but its the same general idea, use cardboard for the nonlinear parts.

I dont have the hump in the floor and to be brutally honest i have no experience doing the calculations and designs in any of my previous builds I paid to have them done. I can build it following plans but the math and science behind it not my area of expertise.

  • 1 month later...

Ive decided to lift my rear seat to fit my 2 x 12s instead of going the 3 x10 Sealed route. Anyone willing to help me with a set of plans for a ported  box for 2 x 12s down fire.  even a  sketchup with dimentions and I can figure out my cut sheet from there
