bigbodylexus
Dude I had to do an install with one of these (15 inch) in a single cab truck in a sealed enclosure and I wasn't expecting much with it being old and half warn out.Let me tell you this woofer shocked the heck out of me and straight up slammed. That one has to go down in my personal history as one of the most impressive experiences I have ever had for what it was. I still have two of those brand new in the box, never been installed. I bought them from a store that went out of business, I left them in my grandmother's garage and forgot about them, she passed in 2004 and I got them back the next year and I have never done anything with them, I'll probably give them to my son 1990 Chevy Suburban (Big Booty Judy) (4) Sundown Audio Zv5 18's (1) Sundown Audio Salt 12K (1) Sundown Audio SAX-100.4 (1) Sundown Audio SAE-50.4 (2) Crossfire ST-1 Tweeters (2) Obsidian Audio ST-1 tweeters (4) Sundown Audio Neo Pro v3 6.5's Saving 2nd Bass
TheSundownFire
I have a Soundstream Reference 405 in my car for the highs and mids. I found it in my cousins shed. He isnt much older than me and didnt even know where it came from so I picked it up for cheap and I love it. It still runs flawlessly and is probably as old as I am or close to that. 1999 Pontiac Sunfire Alpine CDA-9886 Sundown Audio SAZ-1000D Sundown Audio SAX-50.4 Rainbow SAC 265.25 Components Image Dynamics iD12 Optima Yellow Top SQFire FTW. Afrodeezyak
thought this thread was something completely different, like puttin systems in old vehicles. Kinda feel out of place bein on here tryin to put a system in a old school bug, its hard to find stuff that will run today's equipment sufficiently
Hellbound Train
Born in 87 and grew up messing with stereos then got into car audio. As soon as I can get back up to my cousins and get into his mustang I will get a pic of his old school alpine 80x80 and stillwater designs 12's in ported enclosure with original port plugs. Here is a pic of some things I have setting around. First is a Urban Audio Works UB-120-M, second is a Rockford Fosgate RFX-8230, and last but not least is a Rockford Fosgate The Punch Classic woofer model number PCH-812.
