He gave you the ability to find out the answer not only for this question but for any future questions you have on how subs should be wired. But what it comes down to is say for 2 speakers at 4 ohms. 1/1/× +1/y So 1/4 +1/4 =2/4 1/2/4 is 4/2 which equals 2 So 2 ohms. Theres your formula.
