well ive been wanting a hand gun for a while now, and i think its about time i build up my stash,

i have shot many guns but know nothing more than how to use them and clean them.

i know like 4 major names, s&w, springfield, browing and colt

i dont know the diff in the diff grain bullets ect

but im wanting to get a cheap hand gun to start off with (anything larger than a 22cal ) lol... i dont know if i have a prefference for a revolver or clip loaded gun

what would be some affordable options for a first gun deal, and im already looking into the concealed weapons permit in florida, since i work in some shitty areas and would like some defence since my chicken wings dont pack that much of a punch lol

anyone get a concealed weapons permit in fla.? and how hard was it to get?

Good handguns to look at IMO:

Glock-Just about all calibers and frame size avail.

Springfield XD

Sig P226, p229 (either 9mm, .40 S&W, or .357 Sig)

Berreta 92 or variant would be ok..just a lil on the heavier side (all metal) (Any 9mm or .40s&w)

If you want a REALLY nice .45 Lok at a Kimber. The Ten II's are really nice...but then all Kimbers are pretty nice.

Para-ordenance makes a decent 1911 (oldschool Colt .45) veriant as does Springfield Arms.

Glock 17 or 19. Hold them both and get whichever is more comfortable.

im looking at a website now, just browsing, can you legaly buy hand guns off the internet via a store?

glockworld.com

looks as if they sell hand guns online?

edit:

lol went to buy 3 guns and you have to have a ffl

which is a dealer licensed to buy/sell guns that is willing to accept the shipment of your gun

so bascily you cut the man out of the gun sale but bring him rite back into the sale to recive the item/s whcih there going to make some kind of money off you ..

well i went to one of the 3 gun shops in town today to get a feel for which gun im going to get, and i have 2 options from there that i fell in love with , weight and feel wise..

taurus brand guns one was a 9mm and the other was a 40cal.

9mm im looking at

http://www.taurususa.com/products/product-...category=Pistol

40cal.

http://www.taurususa.com/products/product-...category=Pistol

they haid rugger, spring field, colt, bretta, hotpoint )sp) and a few others , and out of them all i enjoyed these the most, the springfield was nice i relly enjoyed the safty on it, where you have to have the gun fully in hand to pull the triger (double safty) but figured that could be bad if i were in a jam sleeping and woke to someone stairing me down... no time to make sure i have ahold of the gun rite...

but the above guns one was like 20rounds, and the other was 17 thats alot of shot to hit what ever im spraying lol...

ill be going to the other shop tommrow to see what they have to offer and see if they have what i want...

and the prices on the web site are the same at the store, ( they upgrade the mag from stock to extra cap. to charge just a little more... each gun comes with 2 mags, one stock and then the extra cap mag. and cost only 50 more than the site sugsted price...)

anyone have any better ideas?... or reasons why i should choose another modle gun?

I already told you. Look up! B)

Why? Because someday yours or a loved ones life may depend on it.

Glock is the only one to trust for that.
