Ron36
The amp is a Skar Audio RP 1500.1 . My question is what’s gonna be louder 3 Skar Audio VD-10’s sealed at 1.3ohms or 2 VD-10’s at 1ohm sealed box . Yes those are my choices for subs there’s no room don’t need help on choosing different drivers , Dont mean to sound like an ass but those are the choices I got. It’s basically is 1.3 better with more cone area then the power of 1ohm with smaller cone area. Thanks for your help guys. 2022 Ford Maverick on 22’s Skar SK1500.1 on 4 Skar VD-8’s Mids Sundown Super tweeters, Skar TX 6.5 components on Skar SKM400.4 LC2 for audio control , XS Power D680 XS Series Extra Battery
Ron36
Any other opinions before I pull the trigger can’t go back after I order them because of ohm difference. 2022 Ford Maverick on 22’s Skar SK1500.1 on 4 Skar VD-8’s Mids Sundown Super tweeters, Skar TX 6.5 components on Skar SKM400.4 LC2 for audio control , XS Power D680 XS Series Extra Battery
bmwking
i agree with phuck. you wont notice the extra couple hundred watts being split between 2 compared to noticing the difference with more cone area on slightly less power. plus, if you decide to upgrade the amp in the future, you have subs that can take more power
