jsmoke222000
The 1 solo x is much louder than the 4 12's. He is still breaking in the sub & fine tuning the settings on the radio, but it is loud as hell already. I set the gain @ half way on the amp & it hit 143 DB on my term-LAB meter with a 45 hz test tone! The volume was ony about half way up also. We will be metering it again on Saturday. We will get vids up as soon as we get it done. Jared Nixon A.K.A. Ya think, I wonder what's gonna be louder, 2500 or 600 watts? http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/01nocomment8so.gif I'll be willing to bet that if you put those CVR's on that 2500 you'd be in the mid to high 40's. Instead of running dual alts it would be cheaper to pick up 2-4 big batteries. I ran 2200 watts RMS on one HC2400 and my voltage never droped below 13.2, and that was with my stock alt. Instead of bringing up that you know ohms law and being stuck in your own ways, try taking in what people have to say and you might end up with better results.
