So Instead of me doing it I thought it would be better if I gave WickToys some subs and he go to his place and do some testing, Hopefully he will be able to give us the results =]

now this is just some testing between 4 different subs in the same setup with same starting voltage, all are dual 2's and please note that all the subs were broke in exept the xls they were freshly built and I will be testing again after a couple days of beating on them :D (i think i might know how to beat on them a little bit).

Also the box i tested them in is my daily driver box which is tuned between 25 and 30 hz lower than the resonant frequency of my truck.

between burps i hooked up my battery charger to make sure all subs were tested with the same amount of power.

So all subs were 18's in a 9.5cu box, (2) 2150's and a 260 amp alt

ok here we go.

first off since it was already in there were the

Lvl 5's

@56hz = 150.6

@57hz = 150.8

@58hz = 150.4

Lvl 4's regular no lvl 5 coils just regular's

@55hz = 150.1

@56hz = 150.9

@57hz = 150.7

Re Mt's

@56hz = 150.3

@57hz = 150.5

@58hz = 150.4

Lvl 4 Xl's (remember they were just built not even broken in yet)

@56hz = 151.0

@57hz = 151.2

@58hz = 151.0

as you can see all subs peaked at 57 hz in my setup except the lvl 4's because of the softer suspension they peaked at 56hz.

and later this week once i get the Xl's broken in i will retest them and see if there is any change.
