DD audio 508 enclosure help

Hi there,
I have a simple cab nissan hardbody,

I have a 8 inch DD redline 500 http://ddaudio.com/products/subwoofers/redline-series/500/

with a focal fp1.800 amp https://www.focal.com/sites/www.focal.fr/files/shared/catalog/document/fp-1-800.pdf

I want to made the enclosure in the bed of my truck and connect it by a hole in the rear face of the cab

 

Here the style of the box, where would be the better place for the square port please or doesn't matter ?

Thank's, So because of the box size I need to choose the number 2 (under the speaker)

Because of my installation, It would be easier for me to put the port in the middle of the box under the speaker, I need 22.82" of port length, can I do a "T" port ?

if you do go with a "t" port, youll want a lot of bracing on the port itself.  also make sure you deduct the total volume of the port from the internal volume of your box, if you go with that design.  if possible, try to move the port all the way to the bottom of the enclosure so it shares a common wall with the enclosure.  if that's not possible due to obstructions, can you put it at the top?  it will be much much stronger if you do.

With this setup, and port on one side, I have 5 inch of free space between other side of box and the port tunnel

im not an expert by any means, but your latest port confuses me.  what i meant by my suggestion is can you use option #2 from your original post, but put the port all the way on the bottom of the enclosure so that it shares a common wall with the bottom of the enclosure?

Excuse my English... I can put it a the bottom but it was better for me to put it at the middle, the hole in my cab would be smaller.
