well my blazer runs around the 2nd line before 210 no matter how long i drive it.and i noticed my buddys yukon chills around like 160 so i dont know what it is im thinking when i replaced my thermostat i put a 180 in it instead of a 160? anybody ever had this problem?brand new clutch fan filled up with coolant not sure what else there is

what year and motor is the blazer?

not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be.

yea thats nothing to worry about, ofcourse the temp will be higher on the gague since you put in the 180 from a 160, but 210 isnt a temp to be in a worry about, if you feel unconftrable with the current temp, just replace it with the orignal seting thermo

my silverado has ran 260, and dumped coolant/water through the exhaust pipe.

and the head gasket is blown, so if you get that, its the head gasket going ;) 9 times out of 10.

are you sure its the head gasket? the 96-98 5.7 vortecs are notorious for the intake gaskets going to shit.

they will also cause coolant to leak into the oil, and out your exhaust.

its the 4.3 vortec.

and theres oil in the coolant.

mine got around 240 and spilled coolant after trying to make it home when my thermostat when out thats about it but its about 190 - 200 all day long idling 80 -90 degrees outside
