Home Theater In A Box?

what do you guys think of this model? my limit is $1000 and i was think either this model or get 2 big floor speakers, a receiver, and a sub? the room it will be for is about 15 feet wide by 40 feet long

for my other choice this is what i was looking at

i have that onkyo 908 ht.. i really love it. the surround sound processing is simply amazing.

Sonys junk

If you want home theater go with Klipsch

i dont see how that is when everything in my living room is sony stuff, looks great, works great, gets VERY loud....and is louder then my friends onkyo 7.1 when all ihave is a sony 5.2, to each there own, but you cant say that sony is junk unless you are talking about their car audio stuff

Ya wat im thinking bout doin when i get time and money is im gonna make my own home theater system and i want 6 5-1/2's 2 8's and 2 10's and 1 6x9 so all i would need to do is get a reciever but idk wat i wanna get and looking for sum ideas looking under $600 possibly $800

dont get a sony reciever.

home theater in a box setups arent really all that great, and onkyo's speakers are the best either.

but their recievers are pretty nice but denon or h/k > onkyo

id get a nice h/k reciever, and then get on ebay and find a decent sub, and 5, 6, 7(whatever your reciever is) in ceiling jbl's
