thats correct, usually the 18's have 3 and the 15's have 4. 

Mine are definitely Quad spiders, and they are sending me a couple of recones just like em.

Current system:

1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s

Previous systems:

2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz.

1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz.

Changes to the wall:

(4) Dual 1.4 ohm 15" MTs. Box is 13 ft^3, new port, slightly less port area (210 sq in) tuned to 36 Hz.

No meter yet - got a problem to fix. As it is right now with the problem, it is WAY louder than the pair of 18's for music. . . .
