The Sundown 3000 is an awesome amp. You will need atleast two batteries and a high out put alt if you run at .5 ohms. If you run it at 1 ohm you might get away with one battery and a good alt. If you run at .5 ohms without a good electrical, you will burn it up!

If you build it, db's will come...

NSPL World Record Holder Trunk 0-1800 watts---147.9 with 1722 clamped watts @ 40Hz(9-20-09).

Competition Only Record Holder Trunk 0-500 watts---148.1

2006 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE

Currently Rebuilding....

My 150db Plus Trunk Build

I do box designs.

I think you should send sundownz a pm for the exact size of batts and alt. you need. Cause I would tell you to get the biggest battery(s) that you can get but you might only need a midsize battery. Its not going to hurt if you do an over kill on your electrical. You could spend the money to get two really good batteries and not have to get a alt. but know this... batteries only store the power so you could bang it hard for one to two songs but turn it down to charge the batteries back up. If your the type of person to bang the music all the time then you need atleast a 200 amp alt.

Thanks for the props :)

Your 220 amp alt and Powermaster D3100 will do nicely!

If you can, run the amp at 1 ohm - it is a good bit more efficient than @ 1/2 ohm and the power difference is not audible dropping to 1/2 ohm. Operation below 1 ohm should be reserved for SPL competition where a few tenths matters.

Quick question.

It's not listed on the site, but what is recommended for the 1500D?
