I spent this weekend with some roll on bedliner then 5 cans of fleckstone in the hatch, and continuing to mess with the parametric EQ in the head unit. I decided that the glove box was the new home for the LAN/Ipod adaptor.

My next problem is the amp rack that I built had to be extended on each end by about 1.5" because I did not leave enough space in between each amplifer for the RCA plugs :sorry: So tomorrow morning I'm adding 2 pieces of 2"x2" to each end, and repainting it.

I have the 1/0 in the car, but no batteries yet. I figure if I can get them in next weekend, I can at least test everything, and will do the Big 3 alternator wire the following weekend.

Just so you guys don't lynch me, I have a 4-day weekend next week, so there is a chance I will have this sucker up and playing then! :yahoo:

**More good news is that MLA has a module for us PT owners and Mechman has 250 amp alternators, but they cost big! But at least I have some options down the road. I am still hoping that my factory 120 amp alternator will be happy with the 2 kinetik batteries and my low powered amps.

Here are a few pics of the glovebox/Ipod, new paint and the PEQ that has had my attention for countless hours! I still have to mess with the time alignment, and slope, but thats for another day!

A little more progress. My first time using a torch to do wire terminals, so I hope I did a decent job. I had to mod the amp rack a little to make more room between the amps for the RCAs. I ended up mounting the Soundstream EQ on the amp rack as well, it will be accessible through the rear door space in front of the wall. For safety sake the positive buss bar was covered with electrical tape.

Tomorrow I'll tackle the batteries! :D

nice install man. it makes a big difference when you pay attention to detail ;)

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?
